Anson Lee White, 21, of St. Augustine, Florida, tragically passed away on Monday, January 27, 2025. Born on July 4, 2003, in Valdosta, Georgia, to Andrew Charles White and Amanda Roberts McKaig, Anson’s life was marked by his boundless passion for music, fast cars, and his deep love for his family.
A self-taught musician, Anson found joy in playing both the guitar and keyboard. He had a natural gift for connecting with others through music. Along with his love for music, Anson enjoyed the thrill of playing video games.
Anson’s most cherished role, however, was that of a big brother. His bond with his siblings was a testament to his caring, protective nature. He was the type of person who would go to great lengths to make those around him feel loved and supported, always willing to give anything he had to help others. Known for his generous spirit, Anson was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents: David “Papa David” White, Tommy Simpson and James “J Paw” Wilkerson; great grandparents: Richard Clanton, Denver Roberts (Louise), Leonard McKaig (Helen) and Charles Tomlinson (Marie).
