Cynthia “Cyndi” Ann Dunnam, age 71, of Lake Park, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Langdale Hospice House. She was born on December 28, 1952, in Warren, Ohio, to the late Clintwood Starnes and Edna Mae Recser Starnes.
Cyndi was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, cherished by all who knew her. She had a deep passion for her work in the Human Resources Department at Medical Group, where she found great fulfillment in helping others. Cyndi’s kindness, compassion, and generosity touched the lives of many, and she made a lasting impact through her selfless devotion to those around her.
A lover of God, life, and her family, Cyndi was a bright light in the lives of her family and friends. She was always ready to lend a helping hand, offering love and care to those in need. Her ability to live with compassion and strength was a true reflection of her character and determination to make the world a better place.
Cyndi was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Daniel Arnold Dunnam, Jr.; her daughter, Angie Carames; and her two brothers, Mark Starnes and Glen Starnes.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Stacie and Simon Ahn of Korea, as well as her grandchildren: Skye Maine (Kwak Shin II), Peyton Maine, Kaira Ahn, and Linnea Ahn; great grandson, Kwak Doha. Cyndi will be remembered for her warmth, dedication, and love for her family. She touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 15, 2024 at Bethel Church of God in Lake Park with Pastor Daryl Pate officiating. Following the service, Cyndi will be buried at Carter Cemetery in Echols County. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 15, 2024. The Dunnam family is being served by the professional and caring staff of Music Funeral Services of Valdosta.
