Of Valdosta passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born June 17, 1950 in Valdosta GA to the late Jake Lee Terry, Sr. and Hazel Christine White Terry. Jake worked for many years in the logging business with Blanton Logging after spending time in the United States Army. He was a member of About My Fathers Ministry. Along with his parents, a Sister, Janice Terry precedes him in death.
Survivors include; Wife of 49 years, Bonnie Terry of Valdosta, GA, Son, Jake “Neil” (Lisa Harrelson) Terry of Valdosta, GA, 3 Grandchildren, Stephanie Harrelson, Jake Harrelson, and Samantha Harrelson, 3 Brothers and Sisters-in-law, Mike & Bonnie Terry of Valdosta, Dale & Melissa Terry, Tony & Karen Terry all of Valdosta, GA, Sister-in-Law & Brother-in-Law, Audrey & Don Manac, Brother-in-Law, Tony Maine, Special Friends, Ginger Deloach , Amelia Lewis, Ruby Duren and Jimmy and Linda Simmons, Several Nieces, Nephews, and extended family members
Funeral services will be held at 12:00P.M. on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery the family will receive friends from 11:00AM until service time at the funeral home.
