Phyllis Ann Spell, 70, passed away on Monday, January 20th, after serving a devout life to Jesus Christ and being an extremely loving, caring, and supportive mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Phyllis grew up in Tampa, Fl. and lived most of her life in Valdosta, Ga. She had recently relocated to Cumming, Ga. She loved to read, attend bible study, cook delicious meals, and spend time with her family. Her home church was Abundant Life Church of God in Valdosta, Ga where she had many wonderful friends. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
Phyllis was born May 6, 1949 to the late David Edward Allison and Johnnie Langford Allison. Phyllis is survived by two daughters and one son in-law, Kathy Graham, Sylvia and Mike Davis; five grandchildren, Kathleen Marrero and husband Jeff, Gracie Graham, Haley Davis, Trey Davis, and Tyson Davis; two great grandchildren, Noble and Candor Marrero; one brother, Bobby Joe Allison and sister-in-law, Joyce; a niece and nephew, Ginger Thompson and Daniel Allison. Adam, Steffi and Beckham Davis were precious to her and thought of her as granny. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Don Spell.
The family would like to invite friends and family to visitation at Music Funeral Services in Valdosta on Friday, January 24th from 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will take place at Music Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 25th. Phyllis will be buried alongside her late husband Bobby Don at Sunset Cemetery following the funeral service.
