Of Hahira, Georgia Passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at her residence. She was born to the late Donald Eugene Kennedy and Sandra Metternick Kennedy on January 20, 1956 in Moline, Illinois. Elizabeth started at John Deere Inc. in 1978 and worked as an Executive Assistant for most of her career, retiring from Constangy, Brooks, & Smith, LLP in Macon, GA in 2012. Elizabeth was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time tending to her plants, traveling, and doting on her granddaughter.
She is survived and dearly missed by her children: Kasey Elizabeth Henderson of Naylor, Georgia, and Alexander Cooper Corbitt of Naylor, Georgia; granddaughter: Penelope Elizabeth Henderson; several nieces and nephews; and loving friend: Thea.
As per her wishes, she will be cremated, and a private memorial service will be held by her family in her honor. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Living Bridges Ministry of Valdosta https://www.livingbridgesministry.org/donate or to the Susan G.
