Of Graceville, Florida passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at her residence. She was born to the late Elige and Stella Warren on September 8, 1941, in Nashville, Georgia. Stella cherished time with her family and enjoyed unwinding with a good book or a challenging crossword puzzle. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Jerry Lamar Peacock Sr; daughter, Tammy Renee Peacock; son, Jerry Peacock Jr.; great grandchild, Dawson Wilcox; siblings: Eula Mae Ganas, Beatrice Fort, Elige M. Warren Jr., Hazel Futch, and Vivian Howell.
Survivors include her daughter, Debbie Moore (Lamar) of Graceville, Florida; daughter-in-law, Laurie Peacock of Headland, Alabama; grandchildren: Tabitha Sirmans (Lee), Michelle Wilcox (Casey), Jessica Harrell (Matt), Alyssa Bradford (Arthur), Quinton Peacock (Mandy), Bethany McDuffie (Trey), AnnaHalee Waters (Caleb), Micah Moore (Joanna); 17 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; brother-in-law, John Futch of Thomasville, Georgia; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 31, 2025, in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Long Bridge Cemetery, Nashville, Georgia.
