Betty Sirmans – 82 Of Ringgold, GA passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at her home. She was born on October 20, 1939 in Nashville, Georgia to the late Wilbur and Mary Minchew. Mrs. Betty retired from Gate/Southland Corporation as a Regional Manager. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Russell E. Sirmans; siblings: Winnie Thigpen, Lola Hedges, Leon Minchew, Rudolph Minchew, Jeff Minchew, Bobby Minchew and Barbara Pittman. Survivors include: Daughters, Paige Laminack (Greg) of Ringgold, GA, Joanne Gallagher (Sean) of Ringgold, GA; Brother, Bill Minchew (Laura) of Lake Park, GA; Sister, Nina Killeen of Lavonia, GA; Grandchildren: Ryan Laminack (Shelley) of Canton, GA, Erika McLane (Ryan), Reece Gallagher, Ringgold, GA and Darby Gallagher of Ringgold, GA; Great Grandchild: Harrison Laminack, Canton, GA. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Mt. Paron Church Cemetery, 1396 Mt. Paron Church Road, Alapaha, GA, 31622. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service at the cemetery.
