    Jerry Lamar Peacock Sr.

    October 6, 1938 - January 26, 2022

    Jerry Lamar Peacock, Sr., 83, of Lakeland, Georgia passed away, Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at his daughter’s residence. Jerry was born October 6, 1938 in Nashville, Georgia, to the late Mattie Lou Watson Peacock and James Elton Peacock, Sr. He was an exterminator by trade, under contract to Moody Air Force Base. Jerry was a loving Husband, Daddy, and Papa. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Tammy Renee Peacock; four brothers: James Elton Peacock, Jr., Edgar Peacock, Elwood Peacock, J.R. Peacock; and one sister, Mildred Stephens. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Faye Peacock of Lakeland, Georgia, children: Debbie Moore (Lamar) of Graceville, Florida and Jerry Peacock, Jr. (Laurie) of Headland, Alabama; eight grandchildren: Tabitha Sirmans (Lee), Michelle Wilcox (Casey), Jessica Harrell (Matt), Alyssa Bradford (Arthur), Quinton Peacock (Mandy), Bethany McDuffie (Trey), AnnaHalee Waters (Caleb), Micah Moore (Joanna); twelve great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; two brothers: Bob Peacock (Jane) of Lake City, Florida, Joe Peacock (Kathleen) of Madison, Florida; three sisters: Mary Nell Young of Jasper, Florida, Diane Stapleton of Valdosta, Georgia and Ruby Daniels of Jasper, Florida, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 o’clock PM, Saturday, January 29, 2022, in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow at Longbridge Cemetery, Nashville, Georgia. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services. The Peacock family is being served by the professional and caring staff of Music Funeral Services of Lakeland.
