John Curtis “Curt” Crosby, age 61, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away, Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at the Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. Curt was born September 22, 1960, in Plant City, Florida to the late Annie Mae Pearson Crosby and Wilson Charles Crosby. Curt was a self-employed Truck Driver. He enjoyed his family and spending time with them and his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Dinky Crosby and one sister, Kathy Crosby. Survivors include his companion of forty-two years, Geraldine Jackson of Jacksonville, Florida, his children: Donna Altman of Jacksonville, Florida, Reuben Altman and wife Angela of Lee, Florida and Heather Nalls of Jacksonville, Florida; grandchildren, Dominque Donnell, Gabriel Hearns, Taylor Davis, Taylin Nalls and Tyler Nalls all of Jacksonville, Florida and one brother, Tom Crosby of Mississippi; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral services will be held at 2 O’clock PM, Sunday, April 24, 2022, at Music Funeral Services, Lakeland. The family will be receiving friends 1:00PM until 2:00PM on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at the funeral home.
