Lorrie Stearns Proal, age 69, of Lakeland, Georgia, passed away at her home, Saturday, June 11, 2022, in the presence of her loving husband. Lorrie was born July 25, 1952, in Greenfield, Massachusetts to the late Norma Pastille Stearns and Dwight Parker Stearns. She was employed at Valdosta State University as a purchasing agent. She was a loving wife and mother. She ran the scheduling of the civil war reenactment office of New England; she worked in the administration office of Northfield Mount Hermon High School for 30 years. Lorrie was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her loving husband of eighteen years, William Sumner Proal of Lakeland, Georgia; a daughter, Katie Wheeler and husband Justin of Minnesota, four grandchildren; one sister: Bonnie Jetson of St. Albans, Maine; two brothers: Galen Stearns Windham New Hampshire and Larry Stearns of Kenai Alaska.
