Rickey Ray Griffith, 67 of Hahira, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at his residence. He was born on July 7, 1954 in Denver, Colorado to the late Charlotte Rose Svalberg Headley and Ray Adams Griffith, Jr.. Rickey was a dog lover, enjoyed baseball and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. He was a veteran having entered the United States Air Force in San Antonio, Texas and serving in Military Law Enforcement for nearly 12 years. Rickey was of the Catholic Faith. He is survived by his sisters, Elizabeth May (Troy) of Hahira, Georgia and Rebbeca Hampton (David) of El Paso, Texas; three daughters, Melissa Scott (Chad) of Norfolk, Virginia, Jennifer Griffith and Meghan Griffith of Illinois; son, Brad Beatty (Caroline) of Illinois and a number of nieces, nephews and extended family members. Graveside services with Military Honors will be held 11:00 A.M., on Thursday, June 23, 2022 in the Jacksonville National Cemetery.
