    June 8, 1962 - January 27, 2022

    Roger Dwain Kelly – 59 Of Ray City passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022 at his residence. He was born in Adel, Georgia on June 8, 1962 to the late James Roy Kelly and Merle Annette Barker Pettyjohn. Roger was self-employed as an auto mechanic and owned Kelly Automotive. He loved spending time with family and grandchildren, drag racing, and was a faithful donor to St. Jude’s Hospital as well as Toy’s for Tots, where he was also a faithful rider. Roger was a man of God and an active member of Ministry Baptist Church in Ray City, Georgia. Along with parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Darrell Kelly and niece Jennifer Box. Survivors Include: Wife of 19 years, Lisa Kelly of Ray City, Georgia; daughter Amber Chauncey (Charlie) of Hastings, Florida; three step-children: Ashlian Mayer of Valdosta, Georgia; Logan Mayer of Ray City, Georgia; Morgan Mayer of Valdosta, Georgia; Grandchildren: Cameron Chauncey, Kaitlyn Chauncey – Blaha (Edward), Kinzlie Chauncey, and Ryder Vitolo; brother Michael Kelly of Tifton, Georgia; two sisters: Patricia Carter of Adel, Georgia; Sandy Box of Adel, Georgia; several nieces, nephews and extended family. A celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM February 5, 2022 at Ministry Baptist Church in Ray City, Georgia.
