    William Freddie Husbands, II- 58 of Valdosta passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born April 11, 1963 in Wakarusa, KS to William Freddie Husbands & Emily (Powell) Blalock. Fred worked as a Corrections Officer and retired from Valdosta State Prison Survivors Include his : Wife, Cathy Denise Husbands of Valdosta, GA; Daughter, Amber Husbands of Cochran, GA; Son, Matthew Husbands of Winter Park, FL, Step Daughter, Carrie Foster (Lance) of Valdosta, GA, Step Son, Stephen Loucks (Courtney) of Jacksonville, FL; Mother, Emily Blalock (Ed) of Valdosta, GA; Father, William Husbands (Lucille) of Waycross, GA; Grandchildren, Savon Foster, Ciera Foster, Chase Simpson; Brother, Michael Husbands of Ray City, GA and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, on Friday, February 11, 2022 at Wayfare Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Music Funeral Services of Valdosta, GA.
