Abbie Willene Anderson – 89
Of Lake Park, GA passed away on Friday, October 7, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on October 4, 1927 to the late Noah and Arkansas Blackburn Mims. She worked as an associate for WalMart and was a member of the Forrest Park Church of Christ. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alton O. Anderson, a daughter, Carla Emdee, a grandson, Jason Deen, three of her brothers, Johnny Mims, Roger Mims and Wayne Mims, and two of her sisters, Geneva Mims and Virginia Saxton.
Survivors include her Daughter & Son-in-Law, Debbie & Ray Sikes of Lake Park, GA; Son, Todd Anderson of Brunswick, GA; Son-in-Law, David Emdee of Woodbridge, VA; Grandchildren, Warner Emdee Ann, Jennifer Emdee, Abbie McLeod Allen, Deana Stevenson, Brandon Anderson; Great Grandchildren, Erik Emdee, Ivan Emdee, Katelyn Emdee, Haley McLeod, Tyler Stevenson, Cole Stevenson, Andrew Deen;
Brothers, Daniel Mims of Albany, GA, Glenn Mims of Atlanta, GA; a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, October 10, 2016 at the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow at 2:00PM in the Westview Cemetery in Moultrie, GA.
