Of Stockton passed away Friday, November 4, 2016 at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare. She was born on March 23, 1932 in Valdosta, GA to the late Mr. & Mrs. Joe Hodges. She was an active member of Stockton Baptist Church and loved helping & serving others. Her husband, John Albert Bennett, Sr. preceded her in death.
Survivors Include: 4 sons & daughters-in-law: Albert & Beverly Bennett, Melbourne Beach, FL, Sherman & Peggy Bennett, Astor, FL, James & Cindy Bennett, Lake Park, GA, Donald Bennett, Stockton, GA; 7 grandchildren: Nicole ConteJoseph, Heather Bennet, Josh Bennett, Matt BennettAmanda, Joey BennettBobbie Kay, Jeannie KrammerRobert and Jeremy Bennett; 12 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, November 7, 2016 at Stockton Baptist Church with burial to follow at Lovejoy Cemetery. Ms. Bennett will be placed in the church 1 hour prior to the service. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 6, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
