Aileen Hicks Hall, 78 of Lake Park, Georgia passed away after a lengthy illness on Friday, December 9, 2022 at the Langdale Hospice House. She was born on August 10, 1944 to the late Frances Davis Hicks and Homer Walden Hicks in Baxley, Georgia. Before retiring she worked as a seamstress, homemaker and successful business owner. Aileen enjoyed cooking and had a way with flowers. She was known to love playing games with a competitive nature and was always happy. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Michael Meadows; sister, Nell Segui and her brother, Eugene Hicks; sister in-law, Madeline Best Peevy.
Aileen is survived by her husband of 12 years, Gordon Hall of Lake Park, Georgia; daughters, Nicole Best of Denver, Colorado and Melanie Best of Valdosta, Georgia; son, Gene Best of Lake Park, Georgia; granddaughters, Miranda (Felix) Best of Denver, Colorado, Heather Pearce of Bluffton, South Carolina and Megan Pearce of Denver, Colorado; grandsons, Dane Baucom of Atlanta, Georgia, Reece Baucom of Valdosta, Georgia and a sister, Nadine Nash of Trenton, Florida; step-daughter, Leslie Gates of Valdosta, Georgia; step-son, David Hall of Alpharetta, Georgia; great grandson, Henry Sandbach; grandson, Dylan McLean of Valdosta, Georgia and granddaughter, Kacie Sandbach of Valdosta, Georgia; sister in-laws, Ellie Best Hutto of Vidalia, Georgia, Geri Best Pope of Ray City, Georgia.
Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 in the chapel of Music Funeral Services located on 3831 N. Valdosta Rd. Valdosta, Georgia. The family will receive guests one hour prior to the service the same day. Messages of sympathy may be left for the family by visiting
