Of Lakeland, GA passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2020 at his home. He was born on June 1, 1935 in Lakeland, GA to the late Columbus “C.C.” and Letha (Bradford) Roe. He worked in construction for most of his life but took a lot of pride in his trim work. When he was not building, he could be found in a field farming. He was Pentecostal by faith. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Hattie Jane Roe, Sisters, Beulah Kimball, Lois Carter and Brother, Junior Roe.
Survivors include: 3 Sons and Daughters-in-law, Robert Roe, Sr. of Lakeland, GA, Jerome and Sharon Roe of Lakeland, GA, Roger and Mary Roe of Lakeland, GA; 10 Grandchildren; 22 Great Grandchildren; Sisters and Brother-in-law: Marjorie and Don Parker of Cummins, GA, Jean Crews of Lakeland, GA, Charlotte Hiers of Valdosta, GA; Brother and Sister-in-law: Raymond and Maggie Roe of Cummins, GA and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Due to the current pandemic a private graveside service will be held at Love Joy Cemetery. Special messages may be left to the family at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
