Alacia Ann Westmoreland Fernandez, age 62, of Lake Park, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 29, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 3, 1962, in Quitman, Georgia, to Emily Jean Westmoreland and Edward Jackie Westmoreland. Alacia was a deeply loved mother, MeMa, and sister. Her faith in Christ guided her life, and she had a special gift for making everyone she met feel seen and loved. She worked hard and took great pride in her role as a courier at Quest Diagnostics (formerly Doctor’s Lab Inc.), where she devoted over 25 years of service. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—spending time with her family, singing her favorite songs, reading, and immersing herself in God’s word. The beach was her happy place, and she was always up for an adventure. She loved to travel and experience new places. She is preceded in death by her father, Edward Jackie Westmoreland, and his wife, Patricia Westmoreland; her mother, Emily Jean (Murray) Westmoreland; her maternal grandparents, George and Emodine Murray; her sister, Sandra Lynn Smith; and her stepsister, Deborah Ketring Smith.
Alacia is survived by her daughters: Amanda Raven Creasy (Jeremy) of Valdosta, Georgia; Alanna Brooke Tillery of Norman Park, Georgia; and Candace Elise Browning of Valdosta, Georgia; her son-in-law, Jake Tillery of Norman Park, Georgia; her grandchildren: Kevin Allen, Trista Brooke Hall, Ryleigh Madison Tillery, Christopher Gage, Gracie Elise, Philomena Nevaeh, and 'Little Man' Browning; her great-grandchild, Levi; her brother, Jerry Edward Westmoreland of Lakeland, Georgia; her sisters: Tracy Renee Bradford (James) of Morven, Georgia, and Tammy Ganas (Johnny) of Valdosta, Georgia; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
