Albert Stone – 63

Of Lakeland passed away at his residence early Sunday morning March 11, 2007 following a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born May 23, 1943 in Lanier County to the late Roy and Agnes Stone. He was employed as a supervisor with the State of Georgia Highway Division for 30 years until his health forced his retirement. He was a charter member of the Lanier County Rescue Team, later to become the Lakeland Lanier County Fire Department. He was a member of Camp Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Clinch County.

Funeral Services were held at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 13, 2007 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial following in Greenlawn Cemetery.
