Of Lakeland, GA, passed away on Monday March 4, 2019, at South Georgia Medical Center-Lanier Campus. She was born on September 23, 1930, in Lanier County to the late Nass Hendley and Lila (Pierce) Hendley. She worked as the secretary for Natural Resource Conservation Services (ASCS). Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lois Spencer Tomlinson; 2 sons, Duncan Spencer Tomlinson and Jeffrey Dale Tomlinson; Sisters, Sara Faye Hendley, Myrtice Hendley Maluda and Nancy Blanche Albert.
Survivors include: Daughter and Son-in-law, Elaine Tomlinson Corum and Steve Corum of El Paso, AR, Son Douglas Barry Tomlinson (Darlene Thomas) of Lakeland, GA, Grandchildren; Stacey Tomlinson Lutz (Stephen Bush) of Homerville, GA, Rosie Tomlinson Martinsen and Erik Martinsen of Valdosta, GA, 3 Great Grandchildren: Garland Elaine Lutz, Duncan Karl Lutz, Roland James Martinsen; Sister Naomi Hendley Ganas of Lakeland, GA, Brothers Eugene Hendley of Homerville, GA, Herbert Hendley of Metairie, LA, Nass Hendley, Jr., of Homerville, GA, Dennis Hendley of Lakeland, GA, Johnny Hendley of Homerville, GA A number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 7, 2019, at Unity United Methodist Church with burial to follow at Arabia Bay Cemetery.
