Of Naylor, GA passed away after a lengthy illness on November 1, 2015 at Emory Midtown Hospital in Atlanta, GA. She was born on June 1, 1948, in Valdosta, GA to the late Lawrence Jerry Green and Elva Mae Green of Naylor, GA. She was also preceded in death by her brother Jerry Green and her great nephew Ty Porter. She worked as a clerk in Pardon and Parole Board in Valdosta, GA from 1967-1968 and Atlanta, GA from 1969 until December, 1971. She worked at Drumheller Bag Company in Valdosta, GA for several years. She retired from Lowndes County Tag office in 1999. She enjoyed playing the piano and organ at Good Hope Baptist Church and surrounding area churches until she became disabled. She also enjoyed being a 4-H volunteer from 1984-1990. She enjoyed cooking and sewing.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 10:00AM in Good Hope Baptist Church with burial to follow in Wayfare Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 4, 2015 from 6PM until 8PM at the funeral home. Sympathy may be expressed online at
