Of Valdosta passed away Thursday, October 07, 2010 at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was born in Lowndes County on October 17, 1953 to the late George Washington & Annie Laura Murray Elrod. She attended Park Avenue United Methodist Church. She enjoyed fishing, yard sales and cooking.
She is survived by her, Sons & Daughter-in-law, Lathan & Tracy McLeod, Valdosta, GA, Timmy McLeod, Valdosta, GA; Grandchildren, Logan McLeod, Lyric Callahan, Jacob McLeod, A.J. McLeod; Brothers & Sister-in-law, George & Linda Elrod, Lenox, GA, Ralph Cleveland, Atlanta, GA; Sister & Brother-in-law, Betty & Ronald Dixon, Nashville, GA; Soulmate, Joe Tenta, Ray City, GA
Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, October 11, 2010 in the Chapel of Music Funeral Services. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Monday, October 11, 2010 at the funeral home.
