Of Valdosta, GA passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at the VA Medical Center in Gainesville, FL. He was born on September 20, 1948 in Orlando, FL to the late Alvin and Annie (Wright) McLeod. He worked as a truck driver for over 25 years. He loved watching racing and football. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Martha Jean Simmons and a brother, Robert J. McLeod.
Survivors include his Wife of 9 years, Ellen McLeod of Valdosta, GA; Sons & Daughter-in-Law, Lathan & Tracy McLeod of Valdosta, GA, Timmy McLeod of Valdosta, GA; Grandchildren, Logan McLeod, Jacob McLeod, A.J. McLeod & Lyric Callahan; Brothers & Sisters-in-Law, Albert & Sandra McLeod of Barney, GA, Alton J. “Peanut” McLeod of Valdosta, GA, James & Chris McLeod of Valdosta, GA; Sister, Rose Gaskins of Valdosta, GA and a host of Nieces & Nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 22, 2017 in the Copeland Cemetery. No formal visitation will be held.
