Of Valdosta passed away Friday, December 9, 2005 at the VA Medical Center in Gainesville, Fl after a lengthy illness. He was born March 31, 1927 to the late Joseph and Mary Alice Seymour. For most of his working life he worked with Strickland Cotton Mill. Mr. Seymour was a United States Navy Veteran serving during World War II. He was a member of the American Legion Post 13 and the Protestant Faith.
Survivors Include; Wife, Evelyn Seymour, Valdosta, 4 Daughters and Sons-in-law; Alice and Wilbur Hughes, Valdosta, Linda and Fred Freer, Canton, Ga, Clara and Larry Warren, Valdosta, Neita and Ricky Baldree, Valdosta, Son and Daughter-in-law, Phillip and Judy Seymour, Valdosta, 14 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services were held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 13, 2005 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with the Rev. Frank Gupton officiating. Burial will follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery.
