Of Valdosta passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at the South Georgia Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was born in Petersburg, ND on April 19, 1922 to the late Andy & Sophie Skjervem Anderson. He lived in Warner Robins most of his life. He served in the United States Army during World War II.Following his service in the Army he worked 30 years in Civil Service at Warner Robins Air Force Base. While in Warner Robins he helped establish Robins Federal Credit Union. He was a member of Forrest Park Church of Christ. Mr. Anderson is preceded in death by his grandson, Jason Deen.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 31, 2007 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with Evangelist Jason Roberts & Allen McLeod officiating. Burial will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, August 31, 2007 in Westview Cemetery in Moultrie, GA.. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, August 30, 2007 at the funeral home.
