Alton Theodore Willis, Jr

January 28, 1951 — August 16, 2007

Of Nashville passed away at his residence Thursday August, 16, 2007 after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born in Winter Haven, Florida to Alton Theodore, Sr. and Ellen Virginia Willis. He was a policeman in Valdosta for a year, firefighter and paramedic in Pinellas Park, FL for 10 years. He was also a missionary with Life Line Ministries for 3 years, was on the Board of Burning Bush Ministries. He served Camp Tygart by working to maintain the camp and its ministries for a lengthy time. He was employed at MSI in Tifton as a customer service representative and safety training coordinator for 8 years. He was a graduate of Berrien County High School and attended ABAC and Norman College. He is preceded in death by his father Alton Theodore Willis, Sr.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 19, 2007 at Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Berrien County, Georgia. The family will receive friends this evening Saturday, August 18, 2007 at Lovein Funeral Home in Nashville, Georgia. Burial will follow at Leila United Methodist Church Cemetery in Colquitt Co. Music Funeral Services of Lakeland is serving the Willis family.
