Of Birmingham, AL passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018 in Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, AL. She was born March 2, 1929 in Cotton, Ga to the late Judson Leon and Winnie Hayes Thomas. Mrs. Tomlinson was a member of New Harvest United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Woman’s Club, Red Hat Society, and the UMW. Along with her parents, her husband George Herman Tomlinson, a Son, Gary Preston Tomlinson, a Great Grandson, Preston Alexander Chandler and a Brother, Judson Jarone Thomas precedes her in death.
Survivors include; Son and Daughter-in-Law, Ron & Kim Tomlinson of Birmingham, AL; Grandchildren, Christopher Tomlinson of Birmingham, AL, Chase Tomlinson of Birmingham, AL, Jennifer Tomlinson Lee of Birmingham, AL and Amanda Tomlinson Chandler of Tuscaloosa, AL; Sisters, Eulaine (Johnny) Herring of Pearson, GA and Carmelita Keener of Zellwood, FL.
Funeral services will be held Monday September 17, 2018 at 11:00A.M. in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
