Amber Garrett

Amber Marie Garrett, age 37, of Hahira, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, January 13,2026. She was born on November 30, 1988 in Valdosta, Ga.

Amber attended Lowndes High School and was an Honor graduate of the Class of 2007. She then furthered her education by graduating from ABAC and UGA with a bachelor’s degree. For the past eight years she had worked as a manager and probation officer with Georgia Probation Management, where she was known for her professionalism, graciousness, and dedication. Outside of her career, Amber found joy in reading, shopping, taking day trips and traveling to new places. She was also a devoted pet parent and deeply cherished her beloved fur baby, Chloe, who brought her constant companionship and happiness. She was a loving, devoted sister and daughter who spread compassion and kindness to those around her.

She is preceded in death by her loving grandfather, William B. Garrett, Jr.

She is survived by her mother, Elizabeth Garrett (Andy Carter) of Hahira, GA; sister, Ava Garrett of Hahira, Ga; grandmother, Mildred Wetherington Garrett of Naylor, GA; aunts and uncles, Burke Garrett (Kim) of Kennesaw, GA; Jil Branan (John) of Billerica, MA; Jon Garrett (Jennifer) of Valdosta, GA; Michael Garrett (April) of Adel, GA; Ben Garrett (Amanda) of Alma, GA; Jennifer Williams (Steven) of Madison, FL; Jane Phillips (Patches) of Naylor, GA; and Sam Garrett (Anne) of Pittsboro, NC. Along with fiancé Matt Clark of Adel, GA. She is also survived by numerous cousins; Matt Garrett (Braedon), Kenyon Branan, Courtney Williams, Haley Garrett Elliott (Jake), Steve Branan (Hannah), John Hutchinson, Isabella Phillips, Grant Garrett (Kenzie), Garrett Phillips, Coleman Williams (Trinity), Carli Garrett, Miles Garrett, Loa Garrett, Malcolm Garrett, Greer Garrett, LakeLeigh Williams, and Lochlan Garrett.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 19, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Riverview Memorial Gardens.
