Amelia Sanchez Pruner

Amelia Sanchez Pruner – 77 of Valdosta, GA passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the Langdale Hospice House. She was born on April 20, 1940 in Kyle, TX to the late Zacarias & Cipriana (Perales) Sanchez. She was a member of the St. John Catholic Church. Amy retired from Moody AFB Georgia with more than 35 years of faithful Federal Civil Service. Amy loved plants, flowers and trees. She enjoyed fishing and outdoor activities. She was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys and movies with lots of buttered popcorn. Her favorite place to go was the flea market. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Eloy Sanchez, Victor Sanchez, Crescencio Sanchez & Anastacio Sanchez, Sisters: Soledad Welder, Juana Porfirio & Felicitas Morales.
Survivors include her Husband of 46 years: Bobby J. Pruner of Valdosta, GA; Sons & Daughters-in-Law: George W. & Lisa Pruner of Ellijay, GA, Michael P. & Kim Pruner of Triangle, VA; Grandchildren: Jordan Pruner of Seoul, South Korea, Logan Pruner of Grovetown of GA, Dana Pruner of Marietta, GA; Great Grandson: Ethan Hurt of Grovetown, GA; Sisters: Candelaria Guerra of Laredo, TX; Basilisa Amador of Austin, TX, Guillermina Lane of Lakehills, TX, Ciprianite Powel of Jamul, CA and Anita Villarreal of Lakehills, TX;
A funeral mass will be held at 12:00 PM Thursday, January 18, 2018 in the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Wednesday evening, January 17, 2018 with a rosary service being held at 5:00 PM at the funeral home.
