Of Valdosta passed away Monday, July 23, 2018 at her residence. She was born on August 7, 1957 to Cesario and Matea (Castro) Marroquin in Sanarate, El Progreso of Guatemala. Along with her father, she was preceded in death by her grandmother.
Survivors Include her Husband: Luis F. Lopez, of Valdosta, GA; Mother: Matea, of Sanarate; Sons and Daughters-in-law, Luis and Maranda Lopez, of Valdosta, GA; Luis and Claudia McCowen, of Valdosta, GA; Dewey and Heidy McCowen, of Guatemala; William and Lupita Contreras, of Guatemala; Grandchildren, Luis Enrique Lopez, Luis Pablo McCowen, Dewey Franklin McCowen, David Fernando Lopez, Adriana Sophia McCowen, and 1 expecting Baby Contreras; Cousin, Maria Elvira Bran, of Pearson, GA; and numerous Brothers, Sisters, Nieces, Nephews, and extended family members.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, July 28, 2018 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial following at Riverview Memorial Gardens. She will be placed in the chapel 2 hours prior to the services. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday, July 28, 2018 at the funeral home.
