Of Valdosta, GA passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on August 31, 1945 in Hahira, GA to the late J.A. and Sybel Christine McNabb Turner. She was a member of Bemiss United Methodist Church. She loved being with her family and traveling. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Hickox.
Survivors include her loving Husband of 54 years, Jerry Edward Howell of Valdosta, GA; Daughter & Son-in-Law, Crystal & Wendell Singletary of Valdosta, GA; Sons & Daughters-in-Law, Randy & Phyllis Howell of Barney, GA, Brandon Howell & Katy Cherry of Cairo, GA; Grandchildren, Rebecca WardMichael, Ashley BlackwellChuck, Alicia Scarbrough Daniel, Jonny Kennedy, Brad Singletary, Brooke Singletary, Macy Youngblood, Elijah Howell, Cali Youngblood and Keyton Thomas; Great Grandchildren: Isabella Blackwell, Levi Ward, Lawson Ward, Madelyn Corrao, Shayne Goodman, Daylon Scarbrough, Darren Scarbrough and Trenton Brown; Brothers & Sisters-in-Law, Jesse & Terry Turner of Orange Park, FL, Walter & Toni Hickox of Douglasville, GA, Sister & Brother-in-Law, Elaine & Regan Shimp of St. Augustine, FL; Special Friends: Carol Swilley and Faye Smith and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2016 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Riverview Memorial Garden. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening, November 15, 2016 at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to Bethany Hospice or the American Cancer Society. Messages of sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
