Ann Gresham Abercrombie – 59

Of Valdosta, GA passed away Saturday, September 13, 2014. She was born on January 27, 1955 in Byron, GA to the late William Douglas Gresham Sr. & Twila Ann Herndon Gresham. She began her education at Wesleyan College in Macon, GA where she obtained her Master of Biology; finishing at Medical College of Georgia in Augusta with a Bachelor of Science Physician Assistant Degree. She practiced as a Physician Assistant for nearly 25 years before illness forced her retirement. She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church. Her greatest pleasures came from spending time with family and home schooling her boys. She also enjoyed and loved theater, opera, classical music, cooking and interior decorating.

She is survived by: Husband, Ronald "Ron" Abercrombie, Valdosta, GA; two sons, Ronald "Pierce" and William "Bill" Abercrombie, Valdosta, GA; Mother-in-law, Laverne Owens, Valdosta, GA; Brother & Sister-in-law, Bill & Cindy Gresham, Bryon, GA; Sister & Brother-in-law, Elizabeth & Ed McQueen, Bryon, GA; Brother-in-law & Sister-in-law, Robby & Jenny Abercrombie, Tifton, GA; Sister-in-law & Brother-in-law, Shirley & Mike Dowd, Vidalia, GA; Nephews: Jamie Dowd, Justin Abercrombie, James McQueen and Jacob Gresham; Nieces: Katie McQueen and Mandy Dowd, and her most obedient child: Gypsy.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00AM on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at Crossroads Baptist Church in Valdosta, GA with graveside services to follow at 3:00pm Tuesday September 16, 2014 at Byron City Cemetery in Byron, Ga. She will be placed in the church one hour prior to services. The family will receive friends Monday, September 15, 2014 at Music Funeral Services, Valdosta, GA from 6:00PM until 8:00PM.
