Of Valdosta passed away Tuesday afternoon January 24, 2012 after a brief illness in South Georgia Medical Center. She was born June 12, 1939 in Karlsruhe, Germany. She was preceded in death by her husband, Foxy D. Statler and her father, Karl Siegel.
Survivors include: 2 Daughters and Son-in-Law, Susan & Kevin McLaine, Valdosta, GA, Julie Statler, Valdosta, GA; Son and Daughter-in-Law, Michael & Catherine Statler, Lake Park, GA; 2 Grandchildren:, Alexander Statler, Lake Park, GA and Brody Statler, Lake Park, GA; Mother, Hilda Siegel, Germany; Sister. Doris Baer, Germany; Niece, Gaby Baer, Indiana and Nephew, Andreas Baer, Germany
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 27, 2012 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends this evening Thursday, January 26, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M at the funeral home.
