Of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at her daughter’s residence in Palm Coast, Florida. She was born on April 16, 1940, to the late Ellis Eugene Pollock and Georgia Mae Pollock in Valdosta, Georgia. Annie had a deep love for flowers and took great pride in tending to her yard, where she found peace and joy in nature’s beauty. She enjoyed quiet moments spent reading, working jigsaw puzzles, completing word searches, and practicing embroidery—hobbies that reflected her patience and creativity. A lifelong resident of Lowndes County until her marriage, Annie carried with her the values of home and community wherever she went. She was a dedicated employee at Scotty’s Hardware, where her hard work and commitment were recognized with the Outstanding Employee Award on two separate occasions. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Chester Lee Roy Brooks.

Survivors include her daughters: Nancy Ann Brooks Morrison (Jack) of Nashville, Georgia, Donna Sue Brooks Bozeman (Alton) of Thomasville, Georgia, and Judy Lynn Brooks Duda (Jim) of Palm Coast, Florida; brothers: Lamar Pollock of Valdosta, Georgia and Eugene Pollock (Debra) of Valdosta, Georgia; sisters: Juanita Sauls (Ted) of Clyattville, Georgia and Loraine Folsom (James) of Valdosta, Georgia; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; cousins: Patsy Sowders and Larry Maggard both of Rose Hill, Virginia; aunt, Lillian Brooks of Valdosta, Georgia; uncle, Thomas Brooks (JoAnn) of Valdosta, Georgia; cousin, Imogene Dawson of Lake Park, Georgia; several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Benevolence Baptist Church Cemetery in Clyattville, Georgia. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM on Friday, November 21, 2025, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charity of your choosing.
