Of Ray City, passed Saturday, August 6, 2011 at her residence after a brief illness. She was born December 17, 1923 in Berrien County, Georgia to the late Alvin Jett and Annie Lee May Futch. She was a homemaker and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ray City. She had been a member of the choir and Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church of Ray City for many years and the Widows Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Creed and a brother, Robert Futch.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 11, 2011 in the First Baptist Church of Ray City with burial in Beaver Dam Cemetery. She will be placed in the church one hour prior to service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, August 10, 2011 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to First Baptist Church of Ray City. Music Funeral Services of Lakeland is serving the Creed family.
