Annie Lou Gentry Hancock ~ 74
Of Valdosta, Georgia passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on January 28, 1947 to the late Vera Mae (Bradford) Roe and Cecil Roe. She worked with her late husband, Billy Hancock in the construction business also she was a member of Camp Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Beige Henry Hancock; brother, Leroy Roe.
Her Survivors include: step-son, Daniel Hancock (Lisa) of Nashville, Georgia; Grandchildren: Justin Burke, Nichole Mcrary (Matt); sisters and brother in laws: Dot Drury of Jacksonville, Florida, Martha Shea (Thomas) of Valdosta, Georgia, Robin Roe of Alapaha, Georgia; brothers and sister in laws: Carol Roe of St. George, Georgia, David Roe (Debbie) of Nashville, Georgia, Cecil Roe, Jr. of Nashville, Georgia; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, January 17, 2021 at Camp Creek Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The Hancock family is being served by the professional and caring staff of Music Funeral Services of Lakeland.
