April Nicole Lancaster

Of Naylor, passed away Saturday, March 6, 2010 at her residence after a sudden illness. She was born in Valdosta, Georgia to Jerome and Joyce Griffis Lancaster. She was a Registered Nurse and worked at Crestwood Nursing Home; she graduated in 1999 from Lowndes High School as an Honor Graduate, and was on the Lowndes High School Band Dance Line. She went on to graduate from Valdosta State University with a BSN of Nursing. She was a member of Naylor Baptist Church and Pleasant Way Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Frank and Lillian Griffis, and grandfather, Harry Lancaster.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2010 in the Pleasant Way Baptist Church and burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, March 9, 2010 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the American Baptist Association Disaster Relief Ministries, c/o Pleasant Way Baptist Church, 4340 Lakeland Highway, Naylor, GA 31641.
