Arthur Weston Roark

Arthur Weston Roark – 79 of Valdosta, GA passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, GA. He was born on September 21, 1940 in Mount Sterling, KY to the late Arthur and Orpha (Bach) Roark. Arthur was an avid hunter and fisherman, the Vice President of Smith Motors, was a member of the Hasan Shriners Temple, Azalea Lodge # 716, The Eastern Star and the Withlacoochie hunting club. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Along with his parents, Arthur is preceded in death by his sister, Kathleen Griffin.
He is survived by his Wife of 26 years Fay Roark of Valdosta, GA; Daughters and Sons-in-Law Lisa Roark of Valdosta, GA, Carla and Tom Ridley of Valdosta, GA, Regina and Richard Lofton of Valdosta, GA, Becky and Robert Rodgers of Valdosta, GA;2 Sons and Daughter-in-law Eric Wills of Valdosta, GA, Mark and Jessica Wills of Valdosta, GA; 13 grandchildren;16 great grandchildren.
Funeral services honoring Mr. Roark will be held on Saturday December 28, 2019 at 11:00 AM in The Chapel of Music Funeral Services. A burial will follow with Masonic Rites in The Riverview Memorial Gardens in Valdosta, GA. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Friday December 27, 2019 at the funeral home. The Roark family is being served by the caring staff of Music Funeral Services, Valdosta.
