Of Lakeland passed away Thursday, August 9, 2012 at her residence. She was born on March 1, 1952 in Clinch County, Georgia to James Augusta and Nunnie Mae Spivey Royals. Mrs. Corbitt was a member on the W.W. Church of God faith. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Corbitt, a son, Dale Corbitt, and a brother, Clinton Royals.

Graveside services will be held 2:00pm Sunday, August 12, 2012 at Sweetwater Cemetery in Pearson, Georgia. Visitation will be held at Music Funeral Services in Lakeland from 11:00am to 12:00pm on Sunday, August 12, 2012.
