Of Ray City passed away Thursday, September 22, 2016 in the Lakeland Villas Convalescent Center. She was born July 31, 1935 in Blandburg, PA to the late Russell and Phyllis Pyles McHugh. She was an active member of New Bethel Baptist Church. Barb enjoyed painting her fingernails, traveling and dinner theater. Along with her parents, her daughter Jenny Lynn Bowser precedes her in death.
Survivors include: Husband of 46 years, Bill Cooper of Ray City, GA; 2 Sons and Daughters-in-Law; Alan & Dorothy Bowser, Altoona, PA, Clay & Laura Bowser, Altoona, Pa; 2 Step-daughters: Theresa Ann Sturr, Melvindale, MI, Ardys Michael Fournier, Bowden, GA; Daughter-in-Law; Esther Kelly, York, PA; Brother, Richard Alan Doris Salyards, Ramsey, IN; 14 Grandchildren; 28 Great Grandchildren; 2 Great Great Grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A. M. Tuesday, September 27, 2016 in the New Bethel Baptist Church. Sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com . The Cooper family is being served by the professional and caring staff of Music Funeral Services of Lakeland.
