Barbara Helen Martucci

Barbara Helen Martucci, age 84 of Valdosta, GA, formerly of Erie, PA passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2026. She was born on October 3, 1941, to the late Christian and Helen Pommer in Erie, PA. Barbara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, known as a gentle loving soul. She was a 1959 graduate of Harbor Creek High School. For the majority of her life, she was a legal secretary and paralegal for many law firms throughout Erie County. At the Tri-State Business Institute, she was a Legal Studies and Paralegal Instructor where she finally retired from. Only for Barbara to start caring for her grandchildren. Her greatest achievement in life was as a mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Barbara was a member of the “Daughters of the American Revolution” the “United Commercial Travelers” the Siebenbuerger Club. Barbara was devoted and lifelong member of Messiah Luthern Church in Wesleyville, PA, where she was involved in various ways. She had many talents as an accomplished seamstress, quilter and cook. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her sister, Doris Pommer; 3 brothers-in-law; 3 sisters-in-law; mother-in-law and father-in-law; and stepmother.

Barbara leaves behind to cherish her memory: her loving husband of 52 years, Ronald Martucci of Valdosta, GA; sons, David Blankenship (Bernice) of VA, Steven Martucci (Melissa) of NC, Christopher Blankenship (Amy) of NC; daughter, Lisa Krasinski (Paul) of PA; son, Robert Blankenship of PA; daughters, Michele Huber (Chad) of NC, and Roni Irwin (Randy) of Valdosta, GA; grandchildren, Christopher, Alyssa, Roman, Hunter, Meagan, Alexis, Logan, Maria, Julia, David, Angelina, Sophia, Sarah, Anthony, Sean and Mason; great grandchildren, Jack, Meadow, Noah, Cash, Cross, and Dominick; brother, Robert Pommer (Carole) of PA; sister, Heidi Healy (Mike) of TN; brothers-in law, Mario Martucci of PA, Richard Martucci (Joanne) of PA, Robert Martucci (Rosemarie) of PA; sister-in-law, Sheryl Martucci of PA; along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members and very special best friend Lois Parkhurst.

May her spirit be joyful and happy, may we carry forth the love she gave to us all. A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 10, 2026, at Riverview Memorial Gardens located at 3945 N Valdosta Rd Valdosta, GA. A Celebration of Life will be held in Erie, PA in May. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the charity of one’s choice.
