Barbara Barnes Patterson

Barbara Barnes Patterson – 75 Of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on October 22, 2021 at her daughter’s residence in Waycross, Georgia. She was born on April 25, 1946 in Moultrie, Georgia to the late Dalton Otis and Lillie Mae Alderman. She was a warranty administrator and long-time employee of O’Steen Automotive Group. She continued working until her health no longer allowed. She enjoyed gardening and traveling. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Robert Patterson; son, Joey Barnes; sister, Elizabeth Taylor and brother, Reggie Alderman.
Survivors include: Daughters: Tammie Barnes (Pam Woolley), Waycross, Georgia, Kelly Fontana, St. Augustine, Florida; 3 Grandchildren: Dominic Fontana (Danielle), Adrianna Fontana and Tyler Griffin; Future Great Grandchild, Sister and Brother-in-Law: Janice Mercer (Steve), Rock Hill, South Carolina; Brothers and Sisters-in-Law: Bobby Alderman (Kay), Berlin, Georgia, Richard Alderman (Carol), Berlin, Georgia, Stanley Alderman (Lisa), Moultrie, Georgia and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 25, 2021 in Riverview Memorial Gardens, 3945 N. Valdosta Rd., Valdosta, GA. The family will receive friends and family from 2:00 – 4:00 P.M. Sunday, October 24, 2021 at the funeral home.
