Of Lakeland, passed away, Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at the Berrien County Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born April 13, 1927 in Berrien County, Georgia to the late Elige, Sr. & Stella Rowland Warren. She was a loving Mom to her children, seamstress, care giver to the elderly, and a homemaker in her later years. She is a member of the Ray City Church of God. She is preceded in death by her husband, Tommie Fort; brother, Elige Warren, Jr.; and a brother-in-law, Jake Ganas.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, April 29, 2011 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Music Funeral Services of Lakeland is serving the family.
