Of Lakeland, GA passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at the Lakeland Villa Nursing Home. She was born on April 15, 1940 in Homerville, GA to Albert & Evelyn Guest Fender. She had lived in Lakeland Villa for the past 23 years where she was loved and cared for by what she considered her family. Prior to that she was active with the Lanier County Developmental Services Center where she was loved by all. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, B. W. Fender.
Survivors include her Brothers & Sisters-in-Law, Bennie & Debbie Fender of Stockton, GA, Dennis & Pam Fender of Stockton, GA; Sister-in-Law, Margie Fender McCoy of Homerville, GA; and a number of loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Stockton Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Fender Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 12:00PM until time of the service at 2:00PM. Sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
