Ben "Blue Rebel" Terry – 64
Of Quitman passed away Friday, June 21, 2013 at his residence after a sudden illness. He was born on July 6, 1949 to the late Lonnie and Corena White Terry. He worked as a truck driver for over 47 years and was currently working for State Line Trucking. He was a family man and enjoyed fishing and talking on CB radio. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Goodman, brother, Buddy Terry and son-in-law, Mark Flynn.
Survivors Include: Wife, Linda Terry, Valdosta; Son, Troy Terry, Jr., Valdosta; 5 Daughters & Son-in-law: Jennifer Lea Terry Courson, Philadelphia, TN, Kathy Flynn, Quitman, GA, Georgia McHan, Lake Park, GA, Christie McHan & D.J. Kinard, Quitman, GA, Bonnie & Mike Terry, Quitman, GA; 15 Grandchildren: Wendy, Crimson, Dustin, Dakota, Raven, Riley, Destiny, Carlee, Lamar, LaShae, Zachary "Little Rebel", Brianna, Tigger, Kayla and Lewis; 1 Great Granddaughter: Mikaela; 2 Sisters & Brother-in-law: Pauline & John Lucas, Illinois, Virginia Eunice, Nashville, GA; 5 Brothers & Sisters-in-law: Howard "Junk" Terry, Quitman, GA, Ed & Jean Hutchinson, Madison, FL, Bobby Terry, Lake City, FL, Troy "Double T"& Linda Terry Quitman, GA, Walter & Annie Harrelson, Cecil, GA; 1st Wife, Ellen Terry, Philadelphia, TN and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 25, 2013 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with Jake Terry officiating. As per his wishes he will be cremated following the services. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 from 10:00 A.M. until service time.
