Of Morven passed away early Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at his residence after a lengthy illness. He was born on April 16, 1942 in Hamilton, AL to the late Ralph Ballard and Hazel Ballard of Ozark, AL. Mr. Ballard retired after over 35 years of driving a Semi. He attended the Orchard Church of God in Morven, GA. He loved camping and collecting old cars. Along with his father, he is preceded in death by brother, Pedro Ballard.
Survivors Include: Wife of 45 years, Beverly Ballard, Morven, GA; 2 Sons & Daughters-in-law: Dale & Darlene Ballard, Hawthorne, FL, Jacob & Shona Ballard, Hahira, GA; Daughter, Joann Monroe McNeil, Hartman, AR; 7 Grandchildren; Sister & Brother-in-law: Judy & Eddie Odom, Ozark, AL; 2 Brothers & Sisters-in-law: Robert & Kathy Ballard, Hahira, GA, Donald & Cynthia Ballard, Orlando, FL.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 22, 2016 in the Orchard Church of God in Morven. A private interment will be held in Campground Cemetery.
