Bennie Allen Fender, age 67, of Stockton, Georgia, went home to be with Jesus on July 25, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 22, 1957, in Nashville, Georgia to the late Albert and Evelyn (Guest) Fender. Mr. Bennie was a volunteer firefighter at Stockton Fire Department. He was also a deacon at Stockton Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and his church family. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Allen D. Fender; son, Michael Scott Fender; sister, Beaudru “Sister” Fender; brother, B.W. Fender and wife Margie; father-in-law, Raymond Browning.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Debra Ann Fender of Stockton, Georgia; son, James Daniel Fender and wife Jacklyn of Stockton, Georgia; son, Jonathon Fender and wife Morgan of Stockton, Georgia; brother, Albert Dennis Fender and wife Pam of Stockton, Georgia; grandchildren: Meagan Fender, Hunter Fender, Israel Fender; great grandchildren: Ryleigh Fender, Olivia Fender; mother-in-law, Patricia Browning of Lakeland, Georgia; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, July 29, 2024, in Stockton Baptist Church with burial to follow in Stockton Baptist Cemetery.
