Bernie Bowman – 70
Of Valdosta passed away Saturday, April 9, 2011 in Big Bend Hospice House of Tallahassee, FL. He was born in North Kenova, Ohio on August 31, 1940 to the late Harry Edward & Myrtle Margaret Duty Bowman. Mr. Bowman served in the United States Army for 20 years. He was a member of Bemiss Road Baptist Church.
He is survived by his, Wife, Lucina Bowman, Valdosta, GA; Sons, Donald H. Bowman, Maryland, James L. Bowman, Maryland, Robie Bowman, Alabama; Sisters, Gladys Simpson, Tampa, FL, Ruth Howell, St. Cloud, FL, Jane Hanshaw, Wesley Chapel, FL

Mr. Bowman is preceded in death by his sisters, Hazel Slaughter of South Point, Ohio, Thelma Burnfield of Ironton, Ohio, Margarie Schearer of Coal Grove, Ohio and a brother, Charles Bowman of South Point, Ohio

Memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, April 22, 2011 in the Chapel of Music Funeral Services with Dr. Danny Edwards officiating.
