Of Valdosta passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2010 in South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on September 29, 1934 in Statenville, GA to the late David & Daisy Mae Sistrunk Sutton. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She retired from Lowndes County Family & Children Services after over 25 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Noah Leeman Bennett, Jr.
Survivors include:Son & Daughter-in-law, Noah L. & Loretta Bennett, Sr., Hahira, GA; Grandchildren, Noah Bennett, Jr. & Rosonna Garvey, Las Vegas NV, Kim & Brian McGhee, Hahira, GA, Chris & Shawna Bennett, Beatty, NV, Adam Bennett, Clyattville, GA; Great Grandchildren, Bronc, Sarah & Vidalia; Sisters & Brothers-in-law, Kathy & Albert McLaine, Pooler, GA, Mary Sutton, Homerville, GA, Bronna & Hubert Hendricks, Homerville, GA, Sue & William North, Hahira, GA; Brother & Sister-in-law, Roland & Sandra Sutton, Homerville, GA; A number of Nieces and Nephews
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 8, 2010 in the Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Wayfare Cemetery in Echols County. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, May 7, 2010 at the funeral home.
