Bessie "Jeannie" Ganas

Bessie “Jeannie” Eugenia Ganas – 95 of Naylor, Georgia passed away on Sunday November 1, 2020 in the Lakeland Villa after an illness. She was born on April 12, 1925 in Lanier County, Georgia to the late Bonnie (Carter) and Atwell Williams. Jeannie worked many years at the Lakeland Drug Company and was a member of the Red Hat Ladies. She enjoyed playing cards and completing word search puzzles. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands: William O. Carter and Terry Ganas; brothers: George C. Williams and Loraine A. Williams; Sons-in-law, Bobby G. Watson, Curtis Rigdon and Reggie Metts.
Survivors include her daughters: Nell Rigdon of Naylor, GA, Bonnie Watson of Lakeland, GA, Sara Roberson and husband Earl of Naylor, GA; Step Son: Bill Wetherington (Deloris) of Brunswick, GA; Grandchildren: George Metts (Tonya), Shannon White (Chris), Shelby Hatch, April Shaw (Ken); Great Grandchildren: Zack Millsaps (Perri), Stephanie Sipes (Steven), Russell White, Bailey Hatch, Savannah Hatch, Brooks Mood, Cole Metts, Wyatt Metts; Great Great Grandchildren: Rance Millsaps, Ansley Millsaps, Steven Sipes, Blakley Millsaps; Step Grandchildren: Robby Stegeman(Angie), Shelly Shaw(Nathan), J.R. Roberson(Mandy), Susie Woods(James), Amanda Padres(Adrian); Step Great Grandchildren: Hunter Shaw, Sierra Shaw, Taylor Stegeman, Tiffani Stegeman, Tyler Stegeman, Hannah Daniels, Shane Daniels, Tory Godwin, Hallie Wallace and Austin Wallace; Special Niece: Deanna Moss(Vernon); Special Friend: Virgil Moore and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday November 3, 2020 in the Good Hope Cemetery in Naylor, Georgia. Friends will have an opportunity to come by the funeral home to sign the guestbook on Monday evening, November 2, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
